Volleyball Dad on Friday

So what does a Volleyball dad do on Friday night?

Normally this dad is spending the evening with his wife and daughter (maybe the daughter is a teenager) and just relaxing, but tonight was different.

Our daughter, who plays volleyball for the Yucaipa High School Junior Varsity team, was asked to play with the Varsity team at there out of town tournament. I try to make every game, I think I have only missed a couple of last couple of years. However, there was no way for me to attend this two-day tournament due to work and of course, an impending hurricane coming into Souther California.

I live in the mountains, and we have to be careful of not only fires but winds and floods. The joys of living in our mini paradise.

So this Friday afternoon, I grab a cold ice tea and sat in front of my computer and watched the live stream by on facebook by wife, Elizebeth.

I was cheering and yelling at the screen. Way more than what I do in person. LOL

So much fun! Yucaipa won both of their games tonight!
