As I sit down to type this email to you, it’s been a rough 13 days battling a pesky cold.
It’s funny how the years seem to catch up with us, isn’t it?
As I inch closer to the big 55 on December 10, I’m beginning to feel those subtle reminders that I’m not as spry as I once was.
Aches and pains, they come and go, and maybe it’s because I’m going to be a not “Papa” not a Grandpa, soon that I’m starting to feel the weight of my years.
You might remember I shared a bit about my health journey with you before.
Back in my 30s, I thought I was staring down the barrel of heart problems, only to realize that it was the heavy load of stress taking a toll on my health.
It was a revelation. Stress, it turns out, can trigger a cascade of health issues—heart attacks, strokes, obesity, high blood pressure, you name it.
Now, as I’m about to cross into my 55th year, I find myself more focused on my health than ever.
What you might not know is that in my line of work, I often find myself juggling the tax problems of countless clients, all at once.
That’s why I’ve been compelled to pay extra attention to my own health lately.
I’ve been immersed in YouTube’s treasure trove of health advice, and one individual who’s really caught my eye is none other than Gary Becka.
His insights have been nothing short of enlightening, especially his riveting interview with the witty Steve Harvey.
I was impressed with the interview I actually tried my first “Cold Shower” this morning.
Ouch!!
In addition to Gary’s wisdom, I’ve been taking a page out of my buddy Rob Minton’s newsletter.
Rob has some golden nuggets to share, drawn from his own studies:
- Break your day into multiple mini-workouts for a health boost. Consistency is key—try multiple sets daily.
- Restrict your meals to an 8-hour window for dietary success.
- Incorporate exercise during your 16-hour fasting period.
- Craft lower-carb meals that cater to your taste buds.
Now, you might be wondering why I’m weaving this narrative about health into our conversation today.
The answer is simple yet profound.
If you’re grappling with tax problems, it’s vital to grasp that these issues can reverberate through your health.
While I may not be able to offer direct health solutions, I can certainly assist you in navigating the tax labyrinth that might be playing a part in your health woes.
I implore you to pause and contemplate the state of your health, and consider how unresolved tax troubles might be influencing it.
