Speaking bio
Carlos Samaniego is an Enrolled Agent and NTPI Fellow who has focused on IRS and California FTB collections and tax resolution since 2017. He is the founder of Tax Debt Consultants in Redlands, California.
Before taxes, he spent fourteen years as a medic — U.S. Army, then civilian EMT/medic — and years in the mortgage and real estate industry. He also spent eight years as a tax nonfiler with serious tax debt of his own before resolving it, becoming a tax preparer in 2012, and an Enrolled Agent in 2017.
He hosts Tax Debt LIVE every Sunday, has been featured on PBS Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid, and writes at CarlosSamaniego.com.
