The other day I was watching Super Soul Sunday on the OWN Network. I was truly blessed to see Thich Nhat Hanh (Vietnamese Zen Buddhist Monk, teacher, author, poet, and peace activist. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prise by Martin Luther King.
Hanh was being interview and he send something that truly hit me straight in the heart.
He was talking about mantra we can use, and the first one was amazing.
To say, "Darling, I am here for you."
He said. ".. when you love someone. The best thing you can do is offer him or her your presence. How can you love someone if you are not there?"
You offer him or her your presence.
Imagine the peace in the world we can have if we followed this mantra. The families we can save, the marriages we can save and our children.
I am planning on watching this interview again with my notebook and taking more notes I will share with you on later day.
