Credit Savvy Tip #5: Keep your old cards active
15% of your credit score is based on the length of your credit history. If you have older cards, keep them! Even if they have a higher interest rate than your newer cards, it is best to put them in a drawer and use them every six months to buy gas and keep them active.
This weekend Elizabeth and I along with our good friends Ron & Ed from San Diego to attend a Mastermind weekend with other fellow 20+ financial professionals throughout the country.
The first evening we had dinner at Capital Grille and I had a great Tuna steak and everyone else said there steaks where to Die for!
Then we head over to the new Wynn Hotel (visit there website to see a great hotel). This hotel is truly unbelievable. They have a Ferrari dealership in the lobby. We actually got to go to there nightclub which was truly unbelievable.
The Tryst Nightclub is over 12,000 square feet with a 90 foot waterfall. This is one of the most unique clubs I have ever gotten to go to….However, the most interesting club was the "Shadow Bar" at Caesars Palace. You have to ask me about that one.
At Caesars Palace I found Bobby Flays new Restaurant, Mesa Grill. We didn’t get a chance to eat there but I will make sure we do next time.
We did get to eat at Margaritaville right across from Caesars. Here is picture of us on the patio just enjoying the cool breeze. After about an hour or so Ed Sanders and us went shopping over at "Forum Shops".
