Snow In Redlands?
Now that does sound wierd, we are only at 1300foot elevation. But it happen two days ago. Now what is strange 2 days before it was 86 degrees and I was wearing shorts. So here are a couple pictures to prove it!
Today is is the big day day for San Diego Chargers. It is playoff day against the New England Patriots, and many of know, I’ve been, a huge Charger Fan for a very long time.
As I was getting ready to watch the game. I had been doing some studying about debt and in Particular "Holiday Debt".
Since we just started the new year many people have resolutions to pay down their debt. But just like "getting in shape" resolutions it is usually right back to the same thing! Using those Credit Card’s!
What I have found very interesting is the amount of people using Credit Cards to pay for food, gas, cigarettes, and entertainment.
I found a great article I wanted to share with you below about how we can stop putting ourselves in deeper debt!

Overcoming post holiday debt is really quite easy. Do not spend money you do not have on items you really cannot afford at the time.
Do not over extend yourself, your beloved wife/husband, or your beloved family into a guilt debt ridden, debt paying New Year. Make a quality decision to be debt free and then start in small simple steps to achieve this amazing goal. You will be more surprised by the release of guilt ridden burdens and anxiety worries – than if you had given or received a luxurious gift – especially if it has put someone into more debt. Including yourself.
It is difficult at first for some, but it truly becomes easier once some of the small debt free steps are taken. Try one of these debt free steps in the tips suggested below and then see if you are brave enough to take on a few. One thing for sure, you won’t be disappointed!
1. Decide to not put any grocery food items on credit cards.
Reasons: You will find yourself really reading food labels for a change of pace & purchasing healthier selections for yourself & your family. You will avoid the so called ‘junk’ foods & ‘sugar’ foods that make grocery shopping bills add up way too fast. You will also begin to see your loved ones not addicted to sugars & starches that add unhealthy weight that you have actually been supplying them with.
2. Decide to not purchase any entertainment games or videos with a credit card.
Reasons: Too easy to quickly decide for the momentary convenience, & then just as quickly regret the purchase when the bill comes due. Impromptu buys should always be paid in cash, since it will always help you stay within your budget and have money to spend elsewhere as really required. Avoid paying Tom, by robbing Harry.
3. Decide to not pay for cigarettes using a credit card.
Reasons: Well no one likes to hear this one, but we all know the health benefits. It may really start curbing additions, whether liked or disliked, & aid in breaking the cigarette habit. You have more cash on hand for other activities or surprise bills. Or even a gift or two!
4. Decide to not pay for your gas using a credit card.
Reasons: I know, I know, I’ve really gone too far now. But, it works. Plus, it stickin’ it to the man!
