Tomorrow’s the big day, watching my daughter Bella graduate from Coast Guard Academy Swab Summer.
Proud father moment.
But I keep thinking about that 3½-hour Revenue Officer call from yesterday morning.
Here’s what I can’t get out of my head:
The Revenue Officer said something that should terrify every taxpayer:
“We’re processing wage garnishments faster than ever. AI is helping us identify targets and execute collections in days, not months.”
Days. Not months.
I’ve seen more wage garnishments in two weeks than in five years.
The IRS isn’t waiting for people to “get ready” to deal with their tax problems.
They’re moving fast.
