It'sbeen a busyfewweeks with theend of schoolandbeginning of summer, allyouparentsprobablytotallyunderstandwhere I am coming from in regards to time.
Acoupleweeksagojust before theend of theschool. One of thebigaccomplishmentwe are proud of Andrew forwas his finalpush to getstraight A's for his Spring semester of his Junior year. Hewanted a 4.0.
Originallyhedidn't thinkit would happen, andhedidit. Hepulled out thelastweek of school.
Wethenwatched our daughter Bella graduate from Kindergarten andnow is a 1st grader. Itwasthecutestthingwatching them get their "magichugs" from their schoolteacher that turned them into a 1st grader.
With theendschool, wegot Andrew off to thefirst of his manytripsthissummer. His firststopwas The United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar program. Heleftfor Annapolis, Maryland on June 14 andspent 7 daysexperiencinglife as a Midshipman. Thegoal of theprogram is for them to experiencelife as midshipmanand to seeifthat would be a placethey would like to attendschoolandbecome a Naval Officer after graduation.
Wedidn't get to communicatewhiletheywhere at the Academy, butwhereable to see photos on Facebook. Wegot to see a couple of pictures of Andrew andtheyput up thisgreatactionshot of him running in formation:
Andrew lovedthe Naval Academy andsaidthat is wherehewants to go to college, heknowsit will be touch, buthe is readyforthechallenge.
Andrew gothome on June 20th from Annapolis andthen 8 hourslaterwegot him to American Legion post in Redlands to take his 8 hourbusdrive with 60+ otherboysselected to American Legion Boy State Program. He will be there until theend of June.
