Obama Wins..What are you going to change?

I stayed up pretty late last night watching the Presidential elections on CNN, probably like most of the country and finally around 10:00 pm or so….

CNN annouced that President, “Barrack Obama was re-elected as President.”

I was just finally relieved that it was all over and now we can get to the business of taking care of ourselves and our families and just pray that all these politicians can get to work on the people business.

Although four years ago I voted for Barack Obama and I did like some things he has done for this country, but there a few things I didn’t like!

I personally thought Both Barrack Obama and Mitt Romney who ever became President ultimatly have very similar polices and directions.

I didn’t vote for either one of them this year.

But I do want change and that change is not coming from a politician.

True change come only to those who change your thoughts, which change their actions, which create the results you get.

Many spirtual teachers including the Master Teacher, Jesus.

Tells us that are thoughts become “Things!”

So what are you going to do about your thoughts going through your mind today, tomorrow, and next year!

What goals do you have for you, your family, your career!

What are you going to Change!

This all reminds me of one of my favorite songs by Michael Jackson, “Man in Mirror” here are just a few of the lyrics:

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)

It’s time to look in the mirror and make change!

The American Dream

One of my favorite YouTube movies and most informative thing I have seen about how the Federal Reserve system works. It made such a impact with my son at Andrew he has been sharing it with everyone including his own history teacher. I truly believe that all american should watch this video to have a better understanding on how our money works!

All of us Americans strive for the American Dream, and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away. Do you know how your money is created? Or how banking works? Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge? Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day?

THE AMERICAN DREAM takes an entertaining but hard hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have in America today. You will be challenged to investigate some very entrenched and powerful institutions in this nation, and hopefully encouraged to help get our nation back on track.

Scariest thing in the world is to face yourself

Earlier this afternoon, Richard Brooke share this great video, to a a response by someone earlier this months that said, “Hey Mr. President  how you gunna help me get a job when I graduate.”

Like Richard said, this video is a must watch. It is not political.

It’s just a different more universal/spirtual way of answering the question.

Chasing Ice

Many of you may not know. I am a huge fan of independent documentaries. One of reasons I love netflixx so much is the ability to see so many independent documentaries. I was recently told about this great documentary by Sean over at Location180 Blog.

This trailer is visually stunning! I can’t wait to see this movie.

The Men Who Built America

Last year, I happen to watch about 6 episodes of the HBO series, Boardwalk Empire. I was amazed at the story telling and visual style of some criminal elements during the prohibition.

Some day I like to start watching it again just watching what history could have been like come to real life is great thing thing to experience.

However, this week history did come to life on the history channel.

An amazing new series just started, called “The Men Who Built America.”

It is the story of John D. Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and J.P. Morgan rose from obscurity and in the process built modern America.

You talk about an amazing show not only for entrepreneurs but for every American. In fact, it show be required watching in history class throughout the US.

Last night I got to watch the first hour about how the “Commodore” Cornelius Vanderbilt and how he single handly built the the railroad empire and to hear commentary from the likes of Marc Cuban, Alan Greenspan and other recent business minds is fascinating.

This is television at its best!

Congratulations history channel for amazing show so far!

Below is the trailer for the show!
